There will be a notice on this website when I can start taking in work.

I would Prefer you contact me by e mail rather than by phone.

Thank you and I am sorry to not be able to help you with your Reline request  at this time.

Restore the Bore in your Antique Firearm by Relining

.17 Rimfire, .22 Rimfire, 25-20, 32-20, 38-40, 44-40

Relining is the best way to restore the bore in your antique rifle. You retain the original caliber, barrel lettering, bluing, and barrel contour. The liner used in your reline job is manufactured in my shop, and is made with premium material and craftsmanship. They are button rifled with a bore that is ultra smooth and uniform with sharp, distinct rifling. The rifling style and rate of twist is patterned after the original Winchester style. The liner is inserted all the way through the barrel and chambered which can correct any excess headspace problem. I use a special bonding material (far superior to the old sweat solder method) to secure the liner in the barrel. This material is resistant to the heat and chemicals of the hot salt bluing baths. The liner is guaranteed not to come out. I also use a special method in my relining which conceals the seam of the liner at the muzzle end and it is very hard, if not impossible, to tell that the barrel has been relined. I do not weld or leave part of the old bore in my process since I feel these methods can cause problems. A reline job is only as good as the liner and from my shop, you will receive the finest liner available.
